Model Termal Proses Pengelasan Keliling Multipass Pada Sambungan Pipa API-X70

Thermal model is the first step in a welding model which may be coupled with mechanical and/or metallurgical model andmistakes in thermal model mislead the next steps. This paper discusses validated thermal model using transformed volumetric Goldak’s heat source model. Birth and death technique was used to represents growing weld bead. Well matched temperature histories of the model and measurements confirmed the correctness of the proposed thermal model.
